The 32-year-old has starred as vigilante Hughie Campbell in the satirical superhero series from 2020. He was asked on the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast if he had shared anything with the producers about his expectations of Hughie as “The Boys” approaches its end with the upcoming season 5.

Jack noted, “Oh, man, I kind of just want nudity to stop. My butt’s had a lot of screen time and it’s not a great one, you know what I mean.”

When asked if his family watches the show, including its more risqué scenes, Jack Quaid shared that while they do tune in, he prefers they skip certain parts. For instance, when it comes to scenes that reveal his butt, he’s requested that they “just not watch.”

Jack added humorously, “I mean, season 3, don’t watch it. Like no one in my family should watch season 3. My butt’s all over that thing.”

At conventions, Jack is often surprised when entire families, including young children, approach his table to share how much they love “The Boys.” When he points out that some of the kids seem a bit young for the show’s content, the parents usually shrug it off, saying, “They got to learn.”

Given the nudity and heavy themes of the show, Jack often has further questions about the appropriateness for younger viewers, but he usually leaves it at that.

Fans had a lot to say regarding Jack’s comments, including his wish to no longer want to bare his body in “The Boys.” One viewer weighed in, “You don’t have to do it!” Another suggested, “He should talk to producers not reporter [sic].” A fan with similar views told the actor, “It’s okay to say no.”
