Liam Payne’s Partner Shares a Note He Gave Her Weeks Before His Death, and It ‘Has Broken’ Fans

Kate Cassidy’s tear-jerking Instagram post, which included a note penned by Liam Payne that revealed plans for their future, showed heartwarming memories shared between the couple.

Three days after being spotted out in public for the first time since her beloved superstar boyfriend’s untimely demise, Kate Cassidy took to Instagram with a tribute post on October 23 (2024). While the beautiful photos she shared of the duo were touching, it was also Liam Payne’s note, which was given to her weeks before his death, that left fans devastated.

Giving her followers glimpses of the wonderful life she and the late “Teardrops” artist experienced, Cassidy’s images displayed the couple embarking on adventures.

From enjoying some time out in nature to snuggling up amid a snowy atmosphere, her photos radiated nothing but pure love and happiness.

The second image depicted Cassidy’s heartfelt statement addressing Payne’s death. After expressing how shattered and heartbroken she is, Cassidy highlighted her wish for Payne to be able to witness his incredible impact on the world and know how loved he was and continues to be by countless people.

She then divulged, “You are — because I can’t say were — my best friend, the love of my life, and everyone you touched felt just as special as I did. Your energy was contagious, lighting up every room you walked into.”

Cassidy also shared her struggle to reconcile that she now has to continue living life without Payne, noting how she lost “the best part” of herself.

She also referenced a note he gave her and said, “I know we’ll be together forever, but not in the way we had planned. You’ll always be with me. I’ve gained a guardian angel.”
