My Husband Dumped Me for Being ‘Too Skinny’ after I Lost 200 Lbs to Get Pregnant — My Story
Molly felt insecure about her weight for most of her childhood and early adulthood. After meeting her husband, she began to gain confidence. Little did she know that he would leave her after she lost weight to give birth to their daughter. Years later, she would learn the repercussions of his actions.
Growing up, my mother often told me that our scars had a way of encouraging or mocking us, depending on how we chose to look at them.
“The choice is yours, Molly,” she would say.
I never really did understand what she meant by that until later on in life. As a child, I was very self-conscious and insecure about my weight. I was an overweight teenager and often got teased by my peers because of this.

Adam and I sat nervously in the doctor’s office, waiting on him to give us the green light to start trying for a baby. As he walked in, I could already tell something was wrong by the feigned smile on his face.
“So, the test results are good. Both of you are fertile; that’s good. However…” the doctor said.
“However?” I interrupted nervously.
“Love, please. Let the doctor speak,” Adam chimed in, reassuringly holding my hand.
