Adam got married once and has never thought of not being with Jackie since. She gave him two daughters, and he chose to stay home with them rather than go out late.

Adam Sandler and his wife had just celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary this month.

Adam and his wife Jackie Sandler have been together for 25 years and share two daughters.

Even though Adam has a rigorous schedule, the actor makes a point of spending quality time with his family.

Adam Sandler is a beloved actor and comedian with a slew of classic movies to his name. From romantic comedies such as “Just Go with It” to more serious projects like “Uncut Gems,” Adam is one of the most well-known and beloved faces in Hollywood.

Besides his longstanding career as an actor and producer, Adam is also a devoted husband. The “Billy Madison” star celebrated his 20th wedding anniversary with his beloved wife, Jackie Sandler, on June 22. The loving pair met five years before they tied the knot, meaning Adam and Jackie have been together for an astounding 25 years.

Not all Hollywood marriages last as long as Adam’s, which makes their 20th anniversary extra special. To mark this memorable milestone, Adam shared a photo of him and Jackie standing side-by-side on their wedding day. They both looked sharp in their wedding attire and Adam captioned the snapshot:

“Happy 20th my sweet Jackie! Your ‘I do’ was the best gift of my life. My heart has been yours since the first second I saw you and I love and appreciate your devoted soul more and more each day. Us. The kids. Lets keep going and going babe. Lots of love to give you. Always” [sic].

In the image, the happy couple stood holding hands beneath a walkway covered with white fabric. In the background, chairs wrapped in pink cloth were ready to receive guests, and in the middle of the snap, Adam can be seen staring lovingly at his bride while Jackie glances over her shoulder.

How Adam First Met His Bride
Half a decade before they would take this lovely picture on their wedding day, Adam and Jackie first ran into each other on the set of a movie. Adam was working on the 1999 film “Big Daddy,” and Jackie had been trying her hand at acting after starting out as a model. She had a small role in the film, playing a waitress in a sports bar.

In 2006, Adam announced the birth of his very first child via his website.

Jackie’s role in the film may have been minor, but it would change her entire life. Recalling the moment they met, Adam said, “We locked eyes and fell deep.”

After starring in the movie together, the two started seeing each other outside of work, and they soon developed a close relationship.

Years later, Adam and Jackie decided to settle down together, and the pair said their vows on June 22, 2003, during a lovely Jewish ceremony held at Dick Clark’s oceanfront Malibu estate. With an all-star guest list of 400 people — and Adam’s dog Meatball — watching on, the pair made it official.

In 2000, Jackie converted to Judaism — a testament to her love for her husband — and on their big day, Adam and his dog wore yarmulkes, and the actor bore his bride’s wedding band on his back, per tradition. After three more years together, the couple would welcome their first child.

Adam and Jackie’s Children
In 2006, Adam announced the birth of his very first child via his website. He tried to give himself and his family privacy despite the announcement of his first daughter’s birth by only writing, “Kid is healthy!! Wife is healthy!!” The little girl, named Sadie Sandler, was born at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles.

Adam also opened up about life as a parent, saying his life centers around his kids.

Two years went by, and Adam and Jackie were having a blast raising their little girl. One night in 2008, however, Jackie decided to surprise her husband with some unexpected news, and she got their then two-year-old Sadie to help her.

Adam recalled that he came home after eight, which was when his daughter was supposed to be in bed. As he stepped through his front door, Jackie came up to him and said his little girl had a present she wanted to give him before she could go to sleep. Naturally, the dad relented, and Sadie passed him a tiny box.

Not making much of the present, Adam thanked his daughter sweetly, fully expecting her to go to bed after handing him the gift. But Jackie insisted that Adam open the box immediately, and, once more humoring his wife, he unwrapped it. Adam was stunned when he found a positive pregnancy test inside.

Adam’s Life as a Devoted Dad
Adam and Jackie welcomed their second daughter, Sunny Sandler, in late 2008, and it seems his two girls will be following in his footsteps. His girls have joined him in a number of films, and he noted that an essential part of his family life is spending time together and supporting each other.

Adam also confessed he keeps his marriage going by being there for his wife. For the actor, it is important to listen and communicate in marriage. “And we don’t ever think of not being together. We always talk about our future together,” he added.

Adam also opened up about life as a parent, saying his life centers around his kids. In an interview in 2014, the actor revealed he refused to see people after 9:30 p.m., always ate dinner with his family at around 6 or 7 p.m., and put his kids to bed. He confessed that being a parent can be demanding, and he has often stayed up most of the night with his kids when they couldn’t sleep, but he adores being a dad.

Many would imagine that Adam is living the life of a movie star, but in reality, the actor devotes most of his time to his family. He has said that his daughters are the most important things in his life. When they have a terrible day, Adam can’t help but feel like his day has been ruined as well.

Adam admitted that he has a tendency to worry about his children. Even when they’re doing fine, he wants to make sure that they’re happy. According to him, “I’ve learned in life now that when your kid is upset you’re rocked until they’re not upset anymore. Even when they’re not upset, you’re rocked.”
