Country music star Jelly Roll was among the artists who attended the 58th Annual CMA Awards. The musician, who has been on a continuous weight loss journey, spoke to a media outlet about his health and weight during a brief interview on the red carpet.

Chatting with Entertainment Tonight, the artist, who donned an all-black outfit that accentuated his frame, marveled at how far he has come in his weight journey.

“Sitting here, talking to you last year, coming back a year later, being 100 pounds lighter on the carpet alone. If that was the only thing I did in that year, it would be like, ‘Wow!'” expressed the star.

He continued, “But then, think about the year I’ve had, man.” The interviewer then brought up how open Jelly Roll has been throughout his health and fitness journey and noted how “incredible” he looks after having lost 100 pounds.
