Kevin Costner’s Ex-wife Appears 30 Years after Leaving Him — She’s Gray-Haired & Living Her Best Life as a Grandma

The first wife of Hollywood actor Kevin Costner, Cindy Silva, was spotted out in California shopping for groceries. It has been 30 years since her divorce from the actor when she stepped away from the spotlight to focus on her family. Her latest sighting also comes while Costner is in the middle of a rocky divorce from his second wife, Christine Baumgartner.

Silva made her way into Gelston’s Market over the weekend, casually dressed in black leggings, Birkenstock sandals, and a denim top. Daily Mail published an array of photos showing the fully gray-haired 66-year-old strolling along in the grocery store’s parking lot while pushing her shopping cart. Later on in the day, Silva was seen dropping off a man at the airport.

The former married couple met while attending California State University in Fullerton in 1975. Three years after courting, the pair wed and welcomed two daughters: Annie and Lily Costner, and a son, Joe Costner, over the course of their 16-year-long marriage. Since their marriage ended, Silva has been living a quiet life away from the limelight of Hollywood.

The beloved mother of three devoted her life to raising and loving her children and grandchildren. She is adored by all her children, who make an avid effort to celebrate their doting mama bear any chance they get.

Both Annie and Lily are proud to have a mother like Silva in their lives. On their Instagram accounts, a plethora of heartwarming pictures and dedications to Silva can be seen. One adorable post made by Lily featured a nostalgic photograph of her and her mom channeling goofy expressions. In her caption, Lily describes Silva as the most beautiful mom in the world.

On Silva’s birthday, her eldest, Annie, posted an extensive birthday message in which she praised the incredible mother, grandmother, and overall woman her mom is. In her message, she also went on about how much Silva’s grandkids absolutely love spending time with her and how excited they get whenever she visits them.

When it comes to her family, Silva is the true definition of a matriarch. From babysitting to family outings and vacations, Silva is seen as an attentive and loving grandmother and mother in every photo in which she and her grandkids are seen.

Silva’s own social media handle on Facebook is also expressive of her dedication to her family, with her profile picture showcasing a lovely family photo including herself, her partner, and one of her grandchildren. Silva’s children and grandchildren also adore her current partner, a man named Larry, who her daughters even refer to as their stepfather. He joined their family when Annie was just 15 years old.
