Orphan Girl Daily Feeds a Stray Dog That Helps Her Find a Family – Story of the Day

When an orphan girl was playing in the park, she stumbled across a dog that looked like her previous pet. “Look, it’s Charlie!” she said to her foster mother, unaware of how her life would soon take an unexpected turn because of the dog.

Losing her parents at such a young age was something Sophia never expected. She felt heartbroken whenever she watched her classmates’ parents picking them up after school.

The little girl was only ten when her parents died in a car accident. That night, Sophia didn’t get a goodnight kiss from her mother or a hug from her father. She went to bed alone, thinking about why her parents had left her so soon.

A few days later, Sophia was introduced to her foster parents. Like other children, the little girl had never thought she would have to consider someone else as her parents, but fate left her with no option.

Although her foster parents were very kind to her and cared for her needs, they could never replace her birth parents. The late-night cuddles with her foster mother, Beth, were nothing like the ones she enjoyed with her mom, and her bond with her foster father wasn’t as good as the one she had with her dad.

Moreover, Sophia also missed taking her dog, Charlie, on a walk every evening with her mother. She loved playing with him and feeding him his favorite treats. After her parents’ funeral, Sophia saw a group of people take him away, but she didn’t know where they took him.

One day, Sophia went to the neighborhood park with Beth when she saw a dog that looked like Charlie. “Is that you, Charlie?” Sophia exclaimed and rushed to pet the dog.

“Where are you going, Sophia?” Beth asked.

“Look, he looks just like Charlie!” Sophia replied excitedly.

Beth smiled at her and allowed her to pet the dog. “He looks like Charlie, but I’m not sure if it’s him. Can we give him some food?” Sophia asked her foster mother.

After seeing how Sophia’s eyes lit up when she saw the dog, Beth took her to the supermarket to buy her some dog biscuits. Then, Sophia went back to the park and fed the dog.

“He loves these treats as Charlie did!” Sophia smiled at Beth. “But I’m not sure if this is him.”

The dog didn’t respond whenever Sophia called him “Charlie,” nor did he remember the tricks they used to do together, but he looked exactly like the little girl’s dog.

“Can we feed him every day?” Sophia asked Beth.

“Sure, sweetheart. We will come again tomorrow,” Beth replied before the pair headed home.
