Country superstar Dolly Parton recently set the internet abuzz with a gorgeous social media post. The timeless singer-songwriter posed confidently in a black and white outfit that paid homage to the wild patterns of a zebra.
The snug ensemble featured a deep v-neck and a thigh-high slit, showing a glimpse of her still-slim legs. She completed her outfit with knee-high boots marching to the same zebra print and big hoop earrings.
Her post attracted a myriad of reactions from fans and social media users, who shared their thoughts in the comments section of the post. “Doesn’t look like something Dolly would wear,” one person highlighted. “Zebra outfit, headed for Africa?” another asked.
“Smoking outfit!! You look amazing,” one praised Parton “Fabulous, but what’s with left knee [sic]?” another agreed. “You look awesome! Wild outfit!!” a third wrote. Other comments also described the singer as “Pretty,” “Unique,” and a “national treasure.”
Parton has always been unapologetic about her style, which began with her childhood admiration for the “town tramp” of her hometown. According to the singer, the woman’s boldness and beauty left a lasting impression on young Parton, who saw in her a model of the allure she wished to embody.
